There was a problem in the shoe industry and in 2014, Connor Wilson and Nolan Walsh set out to fix it. They were just a couple of consumers on student budgets looking for high-quality leather boots that weren’t going to break the bank, and were surprised to discover that they couldn’t find exceptionally high quality boots at a price point they could manage. They looked everywhere to no avail, but they refused to settle. So they made their own comfortable, durable, versatile, and affordable boot styles. Three years later, the two are just as committed as they were in the early days to serving up perfect, everyday boots that will last for years to come. Comfort

Thursday Boots are built to be comfortable with minimal break-in. And like all good things, they also get better with age. The legacy boot brands your father grew up wearing still use century old materials and outdated technology. As comfortable as your Thursday Boots are right out of the box, just wait until the cork bed midsole and EVA starts to adapt to the shape of your foot! The end result is an impossibly smooth ride.

We use the best leathers in America from two award-winning suppliers: Horween and Le Farc. From the Horween family, we source Natural Chromexcel, which is our lighter colored leather. From the award-winning Le Farc factory, we source our Thursday Chrome leather. It’s a proprietary blend that encompasses the durability of a veg tan, and the vibrant color of a chrome tannage. Both are made using Tier 1 hides, which is the highest grade of leather. We don’t use dyes and stains to cover imperfections, we let our flawless leather do the talking.

Versatility

We chose the name “Thursday” because it’s the one day of the week where hard work is imperative, but partying is always a possibility, as it’s the unofficial start of the weekend. We design all of our products with that versatility in mind. The best products tend to be the simplest: premium quality leather uppers and clean designs. Thursday Boots are handcrafted with the highest quality materials and use construction methods to last a lifetime with proper care, so you can wear them as ruggedly as possible without the fear of them tearing, separating, or cracking.

Honest Prices

One of the things we are most proud of is our “integrity first” philosophy. We don’t play games by featuring discounts and sales events because we always sell as low as we possibly can. We believe in making the highest quality products and offering them to our community for fair and consistent prices at a revolutionarily low-markup. Here’s how we do it:

1. Self distribution: We don’t work through legacy retail channels, where we would have a retail partner taking between 40 to 60 percent of the profit margin.

2. Lean organization: We don’t funnel money to the top, so we don’t have massive fixed costs. Instead, we have the foresight to reinvest in an informed and prudent way.

3. Modular production: We do weekly small batch runs, as opposed to a few very large runs per year, producing in accordance to the demand curve. This allows us to avoid inventory overhang. We consequently don’t have to bake a buffer into our prices.
